Did you know that in South Korea there is a house designed to look like a toilet?
The "toilet house," as it is called, was built in 2007 by a Mr. Sim Jae-deok, who later became chairman and founder of the World Toilet Association.
Haewoojae, which signifies in Korean "a place of sanctuary where one can solve one's worries" is in Suwon.

Sim Jae-deok dedicated himself completely to promoting the culture of sanitation and demonstrating its importance to world health.
After his death in 2009, his family donated the house to the city of Suwon, which converted the building in his honour into a museum of toilet culture.
The theme park opened in 2012 and consists of dozens of artworks and exhibits of historical toilets from all eras.
Highlights include a giant golden poo at the entrance to the museum, the toilet located in the middle of the building with a clear glass window that becomes opaque at the flick of a switch, and the many toilets around the park that have been converted into colourful mini flower gardens.
