First announced on July 3rd this year, on November 11th SM Entertainment finally released a name and a date for upcoming Kai solo debut album.
Named ‘K开I’ ( as in ‘开’ means ‘to open’ or ‘to start’ ) the mini-album will feature 6 songs.
Main dancer, vocalist and sub-rapper of EXO and Super-M, and already recognised worldwide as the first ever Korean Gucci’s Global Ambassador and the first male muse of Bobbi Brown cosmetics, now Kai ( @zkdlin on instagram ) is getting ready to conquer as a soloist the k-pop world as well.
With his wide range of interests and talents, from dance to rap, and his perfectionist attitude, Kai’s talent has already been widely recognised by professional choreographers, fellow idols and many industry experts.
On July 3rd, following the very first announcement, the hashtag #KAI_IS_COMING trended first worldwide for many hours and on November 11th the newest hashtag #KAI_1stSOLO outshined the older one.
Known as “idol of idols” in the industry, his fan-cams never fail to get viral and his very first teaser pic for his upcoming solo gained almost 200k retweets and more than 230k likes in only 9 hours!
